Two 1:100 000 scale topographic maps covering the West MacDonnell Ranges in the Northern Territory have been produced in collaboration with Parks Australia, Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism and Northern Territory government agencies. Contains information regarding the traditional owners of the land, vehicle access, facilities, grid referencing, local climate, and a five-level difficulty classification that ranges from very hard to wheelchair accessible
The maps are at 1:100k, at this scale 1cm on the map represents 1km on the ground. The contour interval is 20m.
This two-part map series contains natural and constructed features including road and rail infrastructure, vegetation, hydrography, contours, localities and some administrative boundaries. A satellite image with insets for popular destinations is on the reverse.
